Collective impact for people and nature

Let’s come together to honour and celebrate three decades of collaboration for people and nature !
As we approach the time to say goodbye to the MAVA Foundation, we are delighted to invite you to our very last online event that celebrates what we have accomplished together. It will also be the perfect moment to launch our commemorative book that included many powerful stories from our MAVA Memories project.
The invigorating one-hour and fifteen minute programme will be live-streamed on March 9th at 3:30 p.m. CET (UTC+1). We have intriguing conversations with MAVA’s partners, team members, and of course, our President André Hoffmann and Director General Lynda Mansson, as we highlight the lessons learned and success stories from West Africa, to the Mediterranean to Switzerland as well as from our Sustainable Economy programme.
We will take a look at how MAVA Foundation and its community of partners moved the needle in biodiversity conservation over three decades, promoted harmony between humans and nature, and even encouraged the emergence of an economic system that values people, planet and profit.
It goes without saying that the 500+ MAVA’s partners and allies were key in the effort to make this world a little better, and it is with all of you we look forward to celebrating these achievements.
THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts, to all those who joined us for our virtual Farewell Celebration on Thursday 9 March 2023. We hope you enjoyed this moment of reflection and celebration.
For those who were not able to join us or want to watch the celebration again, you can watch below the recording of the event.
To our partners, you make the MAVA community what it is today, and we are deeply grateful for our collaboration over these three decades. As our President, André Hoffmann, said during the live, “It would not have been possible without you. We love you. This is a wonderful success story.”
